Cookie Policy
Last Updated: April 30, 2026This page explains what cookies are, how Settled uses them across the public marketing site and the authenticated platform, and the choices available to you.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are commonly used to support session continuity, security, authentication, and basic service functionality.
Settled is delivered through two separate surfaces: the public marketing site and the authenticated platform. They run on different hosts and use cookies differently. This page describes both.
The public marketing site is a non-authenticated surface used for product information and trust pages.
Site Analytics
We currently plan to use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage of the marketing site (pages viewed, referrer, session length). This data is collected for product and marketing purposes and is not used to identify individual users.
Consent Where Required
Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies, we will request that consent before non-essential analytics cookies are set.
No Marketing Trackers in Platform
The authenticated platform does not run marketing trackers in v1.
The authenticated platform uses cookies strictly necessary to operate the service.
Authentication Session
A host-only session cookie is set by the platform after successful sign-in. It is required for authentication and security and cannot be disabled without losing access to the platform.
No Cross-Site Tracking
We do not use third-party advertising networks or cross-site tracking on the platform for commercial purposes.
We may rely on a limited number of third-party services in connection with platform security, reliability, or operational monitoring. These services may set cookies as part of their function. Where such cookies are non-essential and require consent under applicable law, we will request that consent.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Restricting or deleting certain cookies may affect platform functionality, particularly authentication and session management. Browser-specific instructions are available in your browser's help documentation. On the public marketing site, your cookie choices are saved using browser storage (such as localStorage) so we can remember your preference; you can review or change your analytics choice at any time using Cookie Preferences in the site footer.
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes or as required by applicable law or regulatory guidance. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate channels.
